Wendy Bjornsen

Wendy Bjornsen is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching and media services. Currently serving as a Media Center Specialist at Wake Christian Academy since August 2017, Wendy manages the media center by shelving and processing books, assisting students with research and technology, and supporting the school community with various inquiries. Prior experience includes roles as a Substitute Teacher at Wake Christian Academy and Manchester-Essex Regional School District, where Wendy managed classrooms and facilitated learning for students. Earlier in Wendy's career, Wendy held positions as a Human Resources Assistant and Medical Billers Assistant at Access Physical Therapy & Wellness, Inc., providing administrative support. Wendy also offered private piano lessons to beginners from September 2008 to June 2015. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Houghton University, obtained between 1990 and 1994.
