Cheryl Strong is a seasoned Library Media Specialist with extensive experience in educational institutions, currently serving in the Wake County Public School System since January 2023. Prior to this role, Cheryl dedicated 18 years to Dallas ISD as a Library Media Specialist, where valuable expertise was developed. Cheryl's career also includes a brief tenure as a Financial Analyst at Concert Management Services, as well as various positions in financial reporting, tax, mortgage, and banking from 1987 to 1999. Cheryl holds a Master of Arts in Library Science from Texas Woman's University, a Teacher Certificate in Elementary Education from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University.
