Alyssa Kitlas

Alyssa Kitlas is currently serving as the Opioid Settlement Program Manager for Wake County, overseeing the development, administration, budget, grant management, and reporting for the Opioid Settlement Program since October 2023. Previously, Alyssa held the position of State Opioid Coordinator at the NC Department of Health and Human Services, coordinating efforts to address the overdose crisis and implementing the NC Opioid and Substance Use Action Plan. Additional roles include Community Overdose Prevention Coordinator and positions in public health with organizations such as the City of Philadelphia’s Department of Public Health, NASTAD, NACCHO, and Whitman-Walker Health. Alyssa's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science from UC San Diego.
