Delores Stacey-Merritt

Delores Stacey-Merritt has extensive experience in human resources and benefits administration, currently serving as a Benefits Specialist at Wake County since June 2023. Prior to this role, Delores spent over 17 years as a Human Resource Specialist at Durham Public Schools and eight years as an Education Certification Specialist at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Earlier career experience includes working as a Customer Service Specialist at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC. Delores holds a MA in Counseling from Liberty University and a BA in Public Administration from North Carolina Central University, with additional education from Wake Technical Community College.
