Jakeema Dawkins

Jakeema Dawkins, PMP, is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Geographic Information Services Director for Wake County, where responsibilities include managing the GIS Division's strategic plans, service delivery goals, and budgets. With previous experience as the Director of Enterprise Project Management & IT Strategy for the City of Raleigh, Jakeema has a strong background in project management office processes, IT strategy alignment, and stakeholder engagement. Past positions also include roles as IT Manager and IT Business Consultant for Wake County, where expertise was developed in managing IT teams, project execution, and vendor negotiations. Jakeema holds a Master of Public Administration from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Spelman College.
