Jean Williams

Jean Williams has an extensive background in leadership and service, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Women's Center of Wake County, Inc. since May 1990. In this role, Jean supervises a staff of 11, manages grants and reports, engages in fundraising activities, and provides direct service to clients as needed. Prior to this, Jean held the position of Associate Executive Director at the YWCA of the Triangle from January 1988 to April 1990, where an interim period as Executive Director culminated in a transition to pursue doctoral studies. Jean earned a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University between 1980 and 1999.
