Matthew Lomax

Matthew Lomax is a finance professional with a robust background in payroll, scheduling, and accounting. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at Wake Emergency Physicians, PA since January 2022, Matthew previously held the position of Payroll and Scheduling Coordinator at the same organization from May 2015 to December 2022. Prior experience includes working as an Accounting Assistant at BHI Energy from November 2011 to May 2015, where responsibilities involved overseeing payroll and billing for the Valves division, managing union reporting, and supporting month-end closing processes. Matthew holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
