Suruchi Poddar

Suruchi Poddar, PhD, currently serves as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, focusing on the direct quantification and molecular weight determination of hyaluronic acid using solid-state nanopore technology. Additional roles include a Science Writer at Sci-Illustrate, contributing to the "League of Extraordinary Cell Types" series, and a Summer Intern at BRINTER, where Suruchi gained experience in developing 3D bioprinted cartilaginous implants. Previous experience includes a Business Development Intern position at Wake Forest Innovations, along with a Postdoctoral Research Fellow role at the University of Central Florida, working on a multi-organ human-on-a-chip system. Suruchi's earlier research includes positions at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, Imperial Fragrances & Flavours Pvt Ltd, Subhasree Biotech, and the Calcutta Medical Research Institute. Educational credentials include a PhD in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), an M.Tech in Biotechnology, and a BTech in Biotechnology from Amity University.
