Christopher Sheridan

Christopher Sheridan is a seasoned media and leadership professional with extensive experience in broadcasting and higher education. Currently serving as Program Coordinator for the Masters in Sports Media & Storytelling program at Wake Forest University, Sheridan focuses on curriculum development and student internship opportunities. As an Adjunct Faculty member at the Poynter Institute, Sheridan works with journalists globally to enhance leadership and workplace culture in newsrooms. Sheridan also operates Sheridan Strategic Partners LLC, providing coaching and strategic consulting to executives and organizations. Previously, Sheridan held senior roles at ESPN, CNBC, ABC News, and NBC News, demonstrating a strong background in digital content production and newsroom management. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University, supplemented by a certificate in Sports Business Operations from New York University.
