Michele Gillespie

Michele Gillespie is a highly experienced academic professional who has been with Wake Forest University since 1999. Michele holds multiple titles at the university including Provost, Presidential Endowed Chair of Southern History, Dean of the College, and Kahle Family Professor of History. Prior to their time at Wake Forest, Michele worked at Agnes Scott College for nearly a decade as an Associate and Assistant Professor. Michele earned their Ph.D. in History from Princeton University and their Bachelor of Arts in History and English from Rice University.
