Sarah Lotspeich

Sarah Lotspeich is an accomplished statistician and biostatistician currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Statistics at Wake Forest University and as an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics and Data Science at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. With a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from Vanderbilt University, Sarah has held significant research positions, including Postdoctoral Research Associate and Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Previous experience includes roles as a Data Science Intern at Facebook and an Analytics and Data Visualization Consultant for Chevron. Sarah's analytical expertise is highlighted by contributions to public health analytics at the Tennessee Department of Health, where dynamic methodologies were developed to address opioid prescription diversion. Sarah’s educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the University of Florida and a distinguished diploma from Edgewood Junior Senior High School.
