Bill Hopkinson, IFCCE, CPBE, currently serves as a Client Implementation Manager at Wakefield & Associates, Inc. since September 2021, while also being retired since September 2022. Bill has extensive experience in leadership positions, having been the President and CEO of CBC Inc/VCS Inc from July 1986 to September 2021. Bill's involvement in professional organizations includes serving as a member of the Board of Directors for ACA International from July 2012 to January 2017, where Bill was elected to a three-year term, and past president of the MDHBA from 2010 to 2011, after being a board member from 2003 to 2012. Bill also held the position of National Director for the Virginia Collectors Association from July 2010 to January 2012. Earlier in Bill's career, Bill served in the U.S. Coast Guard from October 1982 to July 1986.
