Matt Stauffer

Matt Stauffer has over 30 years of work experience in various financial and strategic roles. Matt is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Wakefield & Associates, LLC since May 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at ACT Holdings, Inc. from May 2019 to May 2022. From 2016 to 2019, they held the position of SVP Finance and Strategy at Convergent Revenue Cycle Management, Inc. Matt also worked as the Director of Finance at the same company from 1999 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they held the role of V.P. & Controller at Waste Management from 1996 to 1999. Matt started their professional journey as a CPA at WOLF, TESAR & COMPANY, P.C. from 1993 to 1996 and began their career at Keystone Steel & Wire in general accounting in 1991.

Matt Stauffer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Bradley University. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Illinois Board of Examiners in November 1991.
