Crystal Berry

Crystal Berry is an experienced Nurse Manager specializing in Perioperative Services at WakeMed, where Crystal has led operations in the PACU, Pre Op, Pre Anesthesia Testing, and Endoscopy areas since September 2010. With over 15 years of leadership in these services, Crystal has driven operational growth through initiatives such as Trauma certification and the development of Bariatric and Orthopedic Joint programs. Prior experience includes serving as Supervisor and Educator in the PACU at WakeMed from September 2007 to April 2010, where responsibilities encompassed hiring, onboarding, and managing staff for a midsized hospital. Additionally, Crystal worked at UNC Hospitals from 1993 to 2007 as a Charge Nurse and Educator in the PACU and served as Charge Nurse in the NC Jaycee Burn Center. Crystal holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, obtained in 1993.
