Pam Parrish

Pam Parrish has extensive experience in the healthcare field, primarily at WakeMed since April 1984, where positions included Project Lead for the Medical Oncology Implementation Project and Director of Application Services until retirement in April 2022. Initially hired as a Systems Analyst in 1996, Pam's career at WakeMed began as a staff nurse in the MICU and progressed to Supervisor and then Manager. Prior to WakeMed, Pam worked at Johnston Memorial Hospital from August 1980 to March 1984 as a Staff Nurse in a step-down unit and later in the ICU as a preceptor. Educational credentials include a Master of Health Administration from Pfeiffer University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan University, and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Wake Technical Community College.
