Paula Walashek

Paula Walashek has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Paula began their career in 1990 at Walashek Shipyard, Inc. in Anchorage, AK, where they worked until 2004. In 2002, they also worked as a Visiting Professor of Graduate Business course at the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration. From 2002-2004, they worked at the University of Phoenix. In 2007, they joined Walashek Industrial & Marine, Inc. as a Contracts Manager, and later rose to the position of Corporate Secretary, Contracts Administration & Compliance, which they held until 2017. In 2016, they became the Vice President of the company, where they served as an Owner, Director, and Vice President, managing various aspects of the organization. Currently, they hold the position of CEO at Walashek Industrial & Marine, Inc.

Paula Walashek completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Central Washington University from 1984 to 1987. Paula then pursued a Juris Doctorate degree in Business from the University of Oregon School of Law, studying from 1987 to 1990. Years later, they enrolled in Old Dominion University and completed their Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from 2013 to 2022.
