Peter Cliffin

Peter Cliffin is a civil engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Principal Civil Engineer at Waldeck since September 2023, Peter is embedded in the Joint Design Office as Technical Resolutions Lead for the Hinkley Point C project. Prior to this role, Peter held the position of Senior Civil Engineer at Assystem from January 2022 to September 2023, where responsibilities included serving as Civil Technical Lead for New Buildings within the Technical Client Organisation. Peter's career began at Atkins, where roles included Civil Structural Engineer, Assistant Civil Engineer, and Graduate Civil Engineer between January 2014 and January 2022. Additionally, Peter gained experience as an Engineering Consultant during a work placement at Hurst Peirce and Malcolm LLP in August 2010. Educationally, Peter holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering: Environmental Fluid Mechanics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Nottingham.
