John Curran

John Curran is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in white collar defense, investigations, and compliance. Curran has served as a Partner at Walden Macht & Haran LLP since January 2017, specializing in AML and cyber compliance. Prior to this, Curran was the Executive Managing Director at Stroz Friedberg, LLC, where leadership over the Intelligence and Investigations, Digital Forensics, and Electronic Discovery Divisions was provided. From 1990 to 2005, Curran held various roles in the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York, including Chief of the Narcotics and Money Laundering Section. Curran's experience also includes a brief role as Deputy General Counsel at the Federal Bureau of Investigation, focusing on national security, and as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Curran holds a JD from St. John's University School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Government from St. John's University.
