Azeem Syed

Azeem Syed is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data engineering and database administration. Currently at Walgreens Boots Alliance since April 2017, Azeem specializes in Azure Cloud technologies, data security, and governance as part of the data architecture team, mentoring staff and driving performance optimization. As President and Owner of Barclay Investment Group since 2005, Azeem oversees investment strategies focused on intrinsic value assets. Previous roles include Principal Oracle & Goldengate Lead DBA at Nielsen, where Azeem led data replication and performance tuning initiatives, and Senior Remote Oracle DBA at Hewlett-Packard. Azeem holds an MBA in Economics from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a degree in Science & Technical Management from DeVry University.
