Johnny Chen

Johnny Chen currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Walgreens Health, a position held since July 2022. In addition, Johnny is an advisor for two 500 Startups companies, Verbal and reflect Inc., since July 2019 and 2017, respectively. Previous experience includes roles as Director of Medicare Products at Kaiser Permanente from September 2016 to June 2022, and Director of Operations - Population Health at HealthCare Partners from 2014 to 2016, focusing on project management and strategic planning for population health programs. With a background at DaVita Kidney Care, Johnny has held several key positions including Director of Special Projects and General Manager, as well as finance roles that involved post-acquisition integration. Educational credentials include an MBA from both the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and Columbia Business School, as well as a B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Management Science from Northwestern University.
