Steve Rempel

Steve Rempel currently serves as Senior Vice President and International Chief Information Officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance, a position held since March 2018. Previously, Steve was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at RITE AID from April 2015 to March 2018, overseeing enterprise technology and service delivery. Steve also led Balance Innovations as President and CEO from April 2013 to January 2015, where responsibilities included strategic leadership and financial oversight. Prior to that, Steve served as Group Vice President of Application Development at Safeway Inc. from April 2008 to January 2013, managing enterprise-wide IT application processes, and as Vice President of Services and Support, leading a significant support organization. Steve holds an Executive MBA from Auburn University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Fraser Valley College.
