Mikko Erkamaa

Mikko Erkamaa has extensive experience in the real estate finance sector, currently serving as Senior Director and Senior Vice President at Walker & Dunlop since June 2012, after holding the position of Vice President. Prior to this, Mikko Erkamaa was Vice President at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital from 2001 to June 2012 and at Captec Net Lease Realty from 1999 to 2001, focusing on Joint Ventures and Acquisitions of NNN leased properties in the Western United States. Mikko Erkamaa's earlier career includes serving as Vice President at Principal Financial Group from 1994 to 1999, where responsibilities involved originating single tenant loans on NNN properties across the United States, and an internship at AEGON in 1993-1994, assisting Asset Managers with a portfolio of non-performing commercial mortgage loans. Mikko Erkamaa earned a BA in Finance from the University of Northern Iowa in 1994.
