Jose Rivera

Jose Rivera is an accomplished Energy Engineer currently working at Walker-Miller Energy Services since August 2022. In this role, Jose collaborates with program managers, developers, engineers, and clients to provide energy efficiency guidance and support for energy conservation programs within Illinois. Previously, Jose served as a BaSE Specialist at UPS, where leadership was provided to a team of engineers, and facility equipment maintenance was managed. An early career as an Energy Engineer Intern at the University of California, Merced, involved conducting energy audits and supporting sustainability initiatives. Jose also demonstrated leadership within the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity, first as Standards Board Chairman and later as Vice President. Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Merced.
