Kevan Mahoney

Kevan is Walker Morris’ Business Portfolio Manager and leads the project, change and innovation delivery team. His department manages change in the business which involves introducing technology and process changes, which assists people in their day to day activities.

Kevan contributes to many projects, so his strength is that he can juggle multiple activities and execute a plan to be delivered in line with stakeholder’s expectations. Seeing the positive impact of the projects his team delivers, and how it helps colleagues with their work is what he finds most rewarding in his role. Kevan proactively deals with complications, ensuring that nothing interferes with activities being delivered in a timely manner.

Making sure the team has the correct stakeholders involved from the start of a project can be a challenging aspect of Kevan’s role. His working style is to be collaborative which helps him ensure that his department is always engaged and understand their roles in an activity.

Kevan takes a positive approach to each project his department undertakes and always looks for the most enterprising way of delivering a required change. The bull is very much taken by the horns given he takes on responsibility for delivering the changes in line with stakeholder expectations.

Kevan has spent his entire working life in the technology sector. He started at Walker Morris as a consultant to help deliver a project which then lead to Kevan being offered a permanent position.
