TJ Blankenship has over a decade of experience in the healthcare IT industry. In 2009, they began their career as a Sales Associate at GNC, where they were responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service, generating sales, and developing customer relationships. In 2012, they moved to DataFile Technologies as a Solutions Consultant, where they procured and developed leads from start to close of the sales cycle. TJ then worked as an Epic Go-Live Consultant for Optimum Healthcare IT and eXuma Group, LLC in 2013. That same year, they also began working for Cerner Corporation as an Engagement Controller and Analyst. In 2016, TJ took on the roles of Manager of Operations at Retina Institute of California and Director of Sales and Operations at Kaizen IT Group. Most recently, in 2017, they joined B.E. Smith as a Director of Client Organization and Client Organization, providing interim and permanent leadership solutions to health systems, community hospitals, and critical access hospitals across various regions of the country. In 2022, TJ began working at WalkerHealthcareIT as the Executive Director of Client Partnerships.

TJ Blankenship attended Johnson County Community College from 2008 to 2010 and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2012.
