Anthony Kay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Anthony started their career in 2006 with an internship in business development at DLA Piper. Anthony then interned at Pilkington in 2007, focusing on high temperature and solar materials.

In 2008, Anthony joined OC&C Strategy Consultants as a Manager and worked there for six years. Anthony specialized in the technology, media, and services sector, successfully completing around 40 corporate and transaction projects.

In 2013, Anthony briefly worked as a Corporate Development Manager at Cengage Learning before moving on to Alpha Plus Group Ltd in 2014. During their three-year tenure at Alpha Plus Group Ltd, Anthony served as the Director of Sales & Commercial Development. Anthony managed the sales and admissions teams, achieving above-market growth for the Abbey Colleges brand. Anthony was also responsible for evaluating new school builds and developing partnerships with international investors and school groups.

From 2017 to 2022, Anthony worked at LexisNexis UK as the Director of Strategy & Business Development. Anthony played a pivotal role as a key member of the senior management team, overseeing the Strategy, Pricing, M&A, and Business Development teams. Anthony successfully launched LexisNexis Regulatory Compliance in the UK, implemented impactful cross-functional strategy initiatives, and delivered strong pricing growth.

Since 2020, Anthony has been a Non-Executive Director at WalkSafe, a high-growth technology startup. Anthony is a member of the founding team and is responsible for the initial go-to-market strategy, business operations guidance, and investment fund-raising.

Most recently, in 2022, Anthony became the Director of Market Development at GBG Plc.

Anthony Kay attended The Manchester Grammar School from 1996 to 2000. After completing their senior school education, they enrolled at the International School Basel from 2000 to 2003, where they pursued an International Baccalaureate with a focus on Maths, Physics, Business, English, French, and German. Subsequently, they attended the University of Oxford from 2003 to 2007, where they completed an MEng degree in Materials, Economics and Management.
