Mary Wall Yeager

Mary Wall Yeager, along with her eight brothers and sisters, is a second-generation owner. She served seven years on the board of directors of Wall Family Enterprise, chairing the Compensation Committee of the enterprise and former operating boards. She is currently a member of the Governance Committee and is serving another three-year term on the WFE holding company board of directors, which began Oct. 1, 2019.

Prior to joining the WFE board, Mary worked with her father (deceased Chairman Emeritus John Wall) and two of her siblings as an elected family representative to the WFE businesses and a leader in stewardship and governance for over 10 years.

Mary served as human resources director for Daybreak Foods, Inc., a multistate food products company, and previously served as corporate compensation manager for CUNA Mutual Insurance Company, a $1B global financial services firm, from 1988–1997. Her prior experience in a variety of industries includes serving as a human resources manager for Rayovac Corporation, Nicolet Instrument Corporation, and Carnes Company. Mary was a member of the management team at several of these companies and served at both the manufacturing plant and corporate office locations.

Mary received an executive MBA (Master of Science in Management) from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, in 1988.

She is a committed advocate of family businesses and is currently the chair of the board of advisors of the Loyola Family Business Center in Chicago, Illinois, an organization of 90 family businesses committed to great leadership, stewardship, and effective governance of family businesses. Mary chairs the Nominating/Governance Committee.
