Patrick Wall

Patrick Wall has actively served as one of three family members of the Business Advisory Committee for 25 years. He is president and sole owner of A-R Editions, Inc., a 56-year-old music publishing company in Middleton, Wisconsin, which is a recognized leader in the publication of historical music and is publisher of the first online college music history and music theory textbook. His company has served as the business office for the Music Librarians Association since 2001. Patrick joined A-R in 1996 as president and acquired ownership in 2001. In 1998, he helped found MusicNotes.com, a company that today is the world’s largest internet distributor of contemporary sheet music. Wall served as chief financial officer and treasurer through 2002.

From 1983 to 1996 Patrick was employed at Demco, Inc. in a succession of increasingly responsible management positions, including market research analyst, merchandising manager, director of marketing, and from 1989 to 1995, as vice president of marketing. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, and finance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Patrick remains active in local youth development through his leadership in Boy Scouts of America.
