Dickson Chellakon

Dickson Chellakon has diverse work experience in engineering and project management roles. Starting with QBizTech as a Software Engineer in 2006, they gained proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Drupal, JavaScript, and jQuery, working on various e-commerce and real estate projects. In 2008, they joined GlobalEnglish as a Software Engineer and progressed to Module Lead and Project Manager roles, developing web applications, integrating APIs, and working closely with product managers and architects. Dickson then joined Pearson India in 2014, serving as a Technical Project Manager, Manager Engineering, and later as Head of Product Engineering. At Pearson, they managed teams, delivered technical projects, and undertook project transfers and system migration. In 2018, they joined Wall Street English as Head of Engineering and is currently working as the Director Of Engineering, overseeing the delivery of a learning platform to learners across multiple countries and reducing customer support defects. Throughout their career, Chellakon has shown expertise in technology strategy, agile methodologies, and team management.

Dickson Chellakon received a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree in Computer Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in the years 2003-2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from the same university from 2000-2003. For their high school education, they attended Sacred Heart Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 1998-2000 and Christuraja Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 1990-1998. In addition, Dickson Chellakon obtained certifications such as "Leader In You" from Maynard Leigh Associates India and "SAFe Agilist" and "Certified Scrum Product Owner" from Scaled Agile, Inc. and Scrum Alliance respectively.
