James mc Gowan

James McGowan has a significant amount of experience in the education industry, specifically in English language training for adults. James started their career in 2001 as a National Service Manager for the Italy business at Wall Street English, Sylvan Learning Systems. From there, they moved to Wall Street English, The Carlyle Group, where they served as the General Manager for the German business and later became the Vice President of European Operations. Since 2011, they have been working at Wall Street English as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the global economic performance of operations in 28 countries.

James Mc Gowan obtained a Ph.D. in Geology from the University of Southampton from 1988 to 1991. James then pursued a Master's degree in Commercial Management and Marketing at ESIC Business & Marketing School from 1998 to 1999. Additionally, they completed a CELTA certification in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor at Cambridge Madrid from 1992 to 1993.
