Bernard Uy

Co-Founder + Executive Creative Director at Wall-to-Wall Studios

Bernard Uy is a co-founder, partner, and executive creative director of Wall-to-Wall Studios Inc., established in Pittsburgh in 1992 and later in Honolulu in 2005. Uy actively contributes to the arts community as a board member of the Hawai'i Arts Alliance and has been a long-standing member of AIGA, the professional association for design, since 1993. Uy served as a member of AAF-Hawaii and held a board member position at the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum from 2012 to 2016. An experienced educator, Uy was an adjunct professor of graphic design at Chaminade University of Honolulu and has also held visiting professor roles at Schule für Gestaltung in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Uy earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design from Carnegie Mellon University, graduating in 1990.
