Christy Wall is an experienced educator and scientist with a background in atmospheric sciences and environmental education. Currently serving as a 6th Grade Teacher at Walla Walla Public Schools since August 2021, Christy previously held a similar position at McCurdy Charter School until February 2023. Christy has also worked as the New Mexico GLOBE Coordinator, training teachers to implement environmental observation protocols, and as an Adjunct Faculty at Northern New Mexico College, teaching Introduction to Atmospheric Science. Formerly the Director of Science and Education at the New Mexico Wildlife Center, Christy developed various educational programs and community science projects. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of Utah and a B.S. in Meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
