Edward Liu

Edward Liu is responsible for the overall financial strategies of Wallaby Medical, including planning, implementation, management, and execution of all financial activities. Edward has over 16 years of experience in capital markets and the healthcare industry and has extensive leadership experience in investment banking, private equity, and corporate executive positions. Prior to joining Wallaby, Edward was Chief Financial Officer and board member for Seed Therapeutics and Chief Financial Officer for BeyondSpring. Prior to that, he was Partner and Executive Director at Epiphron Capital, Senior Vice President of Investment Banking and Capital Markets at Jefferies, and Vice President of Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan. Edward has led over 100 equity and debt financing, M&A, restructuring, and partnership projects in his career with a total transaction value exceeding US$30 billion. Edward graduates from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics and Mathematics and has studied Biomedical Engineering at Tsinghua University.
