Josep Ferrer Boix

Josep Ferrer Boix has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Josep started their career at Alcatel-Lucent as an Ingeniero in 2004 and then moved on to SICONET as a Software Development role from 2004 to 2006. Josep then joined iSOCO as a Project Manager from 2006 to 2012. In 2012, they became the CTO of IGGEOS/Drivania, where they played a vital role in transitioning the company into selling 60% online. Since 2015, they have been working at Wallapop as the VP of Engineering, where they have contributed to the company's substantial growth in active users and revenue.

Josep Ferrer Boix completed their education at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Josep obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering with a field of study in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a degree in Enginyeria Tècnica de Telecomunicació especialitat en sistemes Electrònics, focusing on Telecommunications Engineering, from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained various certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level, CSM Certified ScrumMaster®, and several Sun Certified qualifications in programming and web development.
