Guillaume Lachapelle

Guillaume Lachapelle, CIH, ROH, CRSP, currently serves as the Director of Environment Health Safety (Corporate) at Wallbridge Mining Company Limited, focusing on HSE innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. With extensive experience, Guillaume has held key roles such as Canadian Delegate at ISO, Head of Health and Hygiene at Rio Tinto, and Corporate Director of Health, Safety and Security at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited. Contributions to organizations like the APSM Board and various positions in Rio Tinto have established Guillaume as an expert in health and safety management across the mining industry. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Occupational Health from McGill University, a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and a B.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry from UQAM, as well as a recent short course from the University of Oxford on leading sustainable corporations.
