Amy Albery serves as Wallick’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Amy is a servant leader who believes in putting people first. She is committed to ensuring the values and culture of the organization provide for a thriving environment for its associates who, in turn, provide incredible service to its primary customer, its residents. Amy focuses on defining the firm’s strategy that aligns with its mission of “Opening Doors to Homes, Opportunity, and Hope.”
Amy began her career at Wallick Communities in 2011 as Director of Development. Since then, she has also held the titles of Senior Vice President of Asset Management and Senior Vice President of Affordable Housing Operations and most recently served in an interim role of Chief Operating Officer. In that role, Amy was responsible for overseeing the Company’s support services and three of its five business units, including Asset Management, Senior Living Operations, and Affordable Housing Operations. Before Wallick, Amy was principal of a title insurance company for 14 years. She oversaw all financial and operational aspects of the Company, which handled commercial, tax credit, and affordable housing transactions.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ashland University and completed Executive Education courses at Harvard Business School. Her passion for making a difference in people’s lives shows through her volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and her role on the Board of Directors and as President of The Woodlands, a non-profit community resource in Newark, Ohio that operates the local women’s shelter, among other things. Active in her profession, Albery has volunteered with and served as an officer with several real estate and affordable housing associations, most recently serving as Board Member and Membership Committee Chair for the Midwest Affordable Housing Management Association (MAHMA) and Vice-Chair of Grassroots Advocacy for the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA). In 2020, NAHMA recognized her with an Industry Achievement Award for her outstanding work advocating federally and locally for affordable housing.
