Emmerson Buie Jr

Emmerson Buie Jr is a seasoned professional in security and intelligence, currently serving as Senior Security Director at Walmart, Inc., since November 2022. Buie has held the position of Midwest Regional Representative for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence since October 2019, coordinating intelligence efforts to mitigate threats to the U.S. Prior to these roles, Buie spent three decades with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, culminating in the position of Special Agent in Charge of the Chicago Field Office, overseeing comprehensive national security and criminal investigative programs. Buie has also served as Special Agent in Charge of the El Paso Field Office and as a Chief Cyber Division representative to the Department of Homeland Security. With military experience as a Captain in the U.S. Army and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Operations Productions Management from Western Illinois University, Buie brings a wealth of expertise in leadership, risk management, and inter-agency coordination.
