Kirk Sayre

Kirk Sayre is an accomplished technical expert in cyber intelligence with extensive experience in various roles within prominent organizations. Since May 2017, Kirk has been with Walmart as a Senior Technical Expert, following a position as Technical Expert in Dynamic Defense. Prior experience includes serving as a Technical Lead Engineer at Lenvio Inc. and a Senior Software Engineer at R&K Cyber Solutions. Kirk's earlier career featured a role as a Cyber Security Research Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, with a focus on automated static reverse engineering of malware. Kirk has also contributed to leading organizations including CERT and the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from American University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bucknell University.
