Mike Ellis

Mike Ellis is a Director of Product Design at Walmart, where they lead a team focused on creating innovative associate experiences that align with the company’s mission. They have a diverse background in UX/UI design, having held roles at Knoxville News Sentinel, Scripps Networks Interactive, and Cadre5, where they championed user-centered design. Educated at the University of Tennessee with a degree in Architecture, Mike transitioned to the digital design field in 2010 and co-founded Koru Design Group, delivering impactful web and print solutions. Originally from New Zealand, they relocated to the USA in 2000 and combine their creative and technical expertise to drive design excellence.
