Ramya Tella

Ramya Tella, PhD, is a sustainability professional currently serving as a Senior Manager for Strategic Initiatives at Walmart, where they focus on driving emissions reductions. They previously worked as an Associate Director for Sustainability at the White House Council on Environmental Quality and as a Sustainability Specialist at the U.S. Department of Transportation, contributing to the development of GHG accounting frameworks. Ramya holds a PhD in Geography from King's College London, where their research centered on international climate policy. They also earned a Master's degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia School of Architecture.
