Spondon Kundu

Spondon Kundu is a seasoned professional in the field of computer vision and machine learning, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Walmart since June 2022. Prior to this role, Spondon was a Senior Research Engineer at Siemens Corporate Technology from July 2018 to June 2022. Spondon also gained valuable experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at the Interpretable Visual Modelling and Computing Lab, focusing on robotic arm control and reinforcement learning techniques. Additionally, Spondon worked as an Applied Machine Learning Developer at NC LIVE / NCSU Libraries, contributing to efficient image retrieval and automated summarization projects. Earlier experience includes an internship at Siemens Corporate Research, where Spondon implemented algorithms for image analytics.
