Sunil Jacob

Sunil Jacob is an experienced professional in responsible sourcing, ethics, and environmental education, with a career spanning over three decades. Since September 2006, Sunil has held several director-level positions at Walmart, focusing on responsible sourcing, human rights, environment, and compliance, while leading initiatives in Asia. Prior to Walmart, Sunil served as Scientist SE at the Centre for Environment Education, where responsibilities included developing environmental education materials and implementing field programs. Early career experience includes work as an Environmental Chemist at South and Southeast Asia Water Treatment Company Pvt. Ltd., focusing on water quality testing and dealer training. Sunil holds an MSc in Environmental Science from Bharathidasan University and a BSc in Chemistry, Botany, and Environmental Science from St. Josephs College, alongside additional educational pursuits at Bangor University and Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar).
