Joseph Weaver

Joseph Weaver is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology on the Pre-Med Track, along with minors in Chemistry and Hispanic Language and Culture. Current roles include serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for Organic and General Chemistry, engaging as a Teens Make Health Happen Mentor with HealthCorps, and working as a Nursing Assistant on the Oncology ward at UPMC Shadyside. Additional involvement encompasses being a Member of the Board of Directors for the Brighter Smile Foundation, where overseeing nationwide chapters is key, and contributing as an undergraduate researcher at the Gomez Lab within the Vascular Medical Institute. Joseph’s volunteer efforts include supporting the Neighborhood Resilience Project and participating in a Summer Medical Institute with CCHF, conducted in Kensington, Philadelphia, while previously working as a researcher at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
