Betsy Paine McClendon

Betsy is the former Chair of the Board of Trustees and the current Chair of the Governance Committee. A Walnut Hill alumna, she earned her B.S. and M.Ed. at Wheelock College, taught elementary school in Newton for 10 years, and subsequently earned an M.B.A. at Simmons College. She then entered the investment world, joining Fidelity Investments in the Retirement Division, where she worked until her own retirement in 2001.
