Paolo Bueno has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Paolo started their career in 2010 as a Programmer at Annexus Soluções e Sistemas, where they maintained back-end systems for a financial institution. Paolo then worked at Banco Santander, where they automated acceptance tests and generated management reports using VBA.

In 2011, Paolo joined SENAI SP as a Technical Instructor, training participants for international competitions and teaching post-secondary courses in programming logic, web development, and databases. Paolo also led small development teams in .NET C# and Node projects.

Paolo then worked at 00K e-business tools as a Full Stack Developer, handling distributed Node.js back-end systems and AngularJS front-end. Paolo later joined Akroma Software as a Technical Lead, leading teams in the development of native iOS and Android apps.

In 2018, Paolo joined wearereasonablepeople as a Senior Software Engineer, working with clients in various industries and leading projects with a full-JS stack. Paolo introduced TypeScript and React Native, and implemented OAuth and OpenID authentication.

Paolo then joined MessageBird in 2020 as a Senior Frontend Engineer. Paolo was involved in architecture and implementation of UI for ML-powered offerings and owned legacy JS codebases. Paolo introduced tooling around generation of OpenAPI definitions and client library code.

Most recently, in 2022, Paolo joined Walnut as a Software Engineer.

Paolo Bueno completed a Non-award Student Interchange Program in Computer Science at The Australian National University from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Escola SENAI Suíço-Brasileira from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Technician in Informatics degree. Paolo'sstudies there focused on .NET Development and Computer Networking.
