Ehtesham Mirza

Ehtesham Mirza has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ehtesham currently holds the role of Head of Technical Operations at Walr, which they started in 2022. Prior to this, Ehtesham worked at Watermelon Research as a Technical Consultant from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for deciphering and analyzing data as well as providing full service operations consultancy.

From 2016 to 2019, Ehtesham worked at Sky as a Programming Manager. Ehtesham managed a team of programmers and DP analysts within the Strategic Insight team. During their tenure, they successfully revitalized the team and improved project delivery by providing clear leadership and direction.

Before joining Sky, Ehtesham held the position of Senior Data Services Executive at ICM Direct from 2007 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Support Specialist at SPSS from 2006 to 2007, where they provided assistance and support to end clients and internal customers using SPSS Dimension products. Ehtesham also traveled to client offices to solve critical production issues.

Ehtesham's early career included roles at Ipsos MORI. Ehtesham served as a Senior Data Analyst from 2003 to 2006, where they worked on survey programming using Quancept, Quantum, and SPSS. Ehtesham also managed projects from start to finish, collaborating with clients, scripting surveys, and presenting data. Prior to this role, they worked as a Telephone Contact Centre Assistant Manager from 1997 to 2003, assisting in the management of a call center with around 300 employees.

Ehtesham Mirza completed a BSc(Hons) degree in Microbiology and Biotechnology from Edinburgh Napier University, from the years 1997 to 2001. Following this, from the year 2003 to 2004, they pursued a PGDip in Software Engineering at the same university.
