Simon Vaarning

Simon Vaarning has had an extensive work experience in various roles related to technology and software development. Simon is currently working as the CTO at walr. since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the CTO at QuenchTec from 2017 to 2022, where they also worked as an Enterprise Architect from 2016 to 2017. Before QuenchTec, Simon worked at MI Pro as an Enterprise Architect from 2008 to 2016. Simon gained valuable experience as a Senior Developer at GMI from 2006 to 2008, where they focused on implementing and integrating software products for enterprise clients. Simon started their career as a Software Architect at Sorona Information in 1999, where they were responsible for designing and leading the development of various software projects.

Simon Vaarning obtained their Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Lund University, which they attended from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they pursued further studies at the University of Tasmania in 1996 and 1997, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Science.
