Marcel Desmeules

Marcel Desmeules, C.E.T, is a seasoned professional in the field of surveying with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Survey Manager at WalterFedy since May 2023, Marcel has also contributed to academia as a part-time professor at Conestoga College since August 2008. Previous roles include Supervisor of Surveys at the Region of Waterloo, where valuable skills were gained through collaboration with design and construction teams, and Project Technologist/Lot Grading Representative at Stantec, focused on client and agency interactions. Marcel began their career at Paragon Engineering Limited as a Survey Party Chief, undertaking responsibilities that involved managing a survey crew and utilizing AutoCAD for project work. Educational qualifications include studies at Conestoga College from 1986 to 1989 and Bluevale Collegiate Institute from 1979 to 1984.
