Amanda Brennan

Assistant Principal at Waltham Public Schools

Amanda Brennan currently serves as Assistant Principal at Waltham Public Schools, a position held since August 2017. Prior to this role, Amanda spent over a decade at Waltham Sr High School, serving as Housemaster and Instructional Technology Specialist. Amanda's experience also includes a tenure as Union Secretary for the Waltham Educators Association, participating in contract negotiations for the 600-member union. In addition, Amanda owned and directed A+ Dance, creating programs focused on hip hop and jazz for children in grades 2-9. Amanda began their career in education as a 5th Grade Classroom Teacher at Fitzgerald Elementary School. Amanda holds a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Vermont and both an MA in Educational Leadership and an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instructional Technology from Framingham State University.
