Zane Walker

Zane Walker, M.S., is an experienced agronomist and farm manager currently serving as the West Region Senior Agronomist and Farm Manager at Walther Farms since October 2016, overseeing crop inputs and quality assurance for extensive chip potato production. Walker's previous roles include serving on the Nebraska Potato Development Committee, contributing to industry support and research funding, and holding board membership at High Plains Psyllid. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Applied Plant Science from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s in Agronomy from Brigham Young University - Idaho. Walker has also gained practical experience through research and teaching assistant positions, various internships, and farm operations from an early age.
